About Marcelo R. S. Ribeiro
Dr. Ribeiro is Professor of Film History and Film Theories at the Faculty of Communication and at the Graduate Program in Communication and Contemporary Culture of the Federal University of Bahia. He holds a PhD in Art and Visual Culture (Federal University of Goiás, 2016) and an MSc in Anthropology (Federal University of Santa Catarina, 2008). He is also author of the book Do inimaginável (Editora UFG, 2019), as well as book chapters and articles on image, history and human rights, African cinemas, cinema history, archive, and decolonization. He is coordinator of the group (an)archaeologies of the sensitive (CNPq).
